Tracey
L. Wallace, president of Marmax Consulting has over 25 years of banking
and staffing industry experience. Combining his experience he has been
very
successful in a number of practice areas including, executive
search, permanent
placement, and (his personal favorite) temporary
staffing.
In the staffing industry he has gained the understanding of the
challenges small
firms face within a very competitive market. As an
executive level manager, Tracey
has implemented success strategies and
studied firms within the industry with a
proven track record for
success. His banking background allows him to draw on his
experience of
“being on the other side of the desk”, he understands the
challenges of
navigating the financial aspects of being a small business owner.
Marmax
Consulting, named after his two sons Marcus and Maxwell, 12 and 8
respectively, was established based on the needs of small business owners,
making available resources needed for growth. “Putting your ducks
in a row” has
been Tracey’s philosophy and he believes, in small
business those ducks are:
leadership, strategic planning, sustained
marketing, web presence, and quality
personnel.
As a leader,
Tracey has chaired a number of committees including the strategic
planning committee for the local school district and is currently a board
member for
the City of Evanston M/W/EBE Advisory Committee.
Additionally, he is serving his
third term as president of the local
